Travel & Transportation

  • We recommend flying into either Indianapolis (IND) or Cincinnati (CVG).

    IND is about 1.5 hours, 88 miles from the venue and CVG is closer at about 45 minutes, 40 miles from the venue.

  • Ample parking is available in the spaces on the courthouse square, as well as on the surrounding streets.

    Please be respectful of other businesses by parking first on the inside of the square and in spots not directly in front of other businesses.

    Driving and/or parking on private property is not allowed.

  • We highly suggest renting a car. There is not ride share widely available due to the rural setting.

    Tip: Booking a rental car through Costco is generally lower-priced than other options.

Accommodations & Venue Info

  • There may be several Airbnbs/VRBOs available in the surrounding areas.

    Batesville (30 minutes away, 22 mi.):

    The Sherman is a historic 22-room boutique hotel and one of the oldest buildings in Batesville having first opened its doors in 1852.

    There is also a Best Western and a Quality Inn in town.

    Greensburg (30 minutes away, 24 mi.):

    There are several hotels in Greensburg like a Quality Inn & Suites, Hampton Inn, and Holiday Inn.

    Madison (30 minutes away, 26 mi.):

    There are several boutique and chain hotels to choose from like Fairfield Inn and Suites, The Chandler Hotel, and The Iron Gate Inn,

    Lawrenceburg (33 minutes away, 25mi.):

    We have heard that the DoubleTree by Hilton is nice and is within walking distance to the casino.

  • The ceremony and reception will be held at The Tanglewood located at 117 W. Tyson Street, Versailles, Indiana 47042.

    The after party will be at The White Rabbit Lounge located at 1 S. Main Street, Versailles, Indiana 47042, which is walking distance from The Tanglewood.

Attire & Dress Code

  • Our dress code is Cocktail. Think suits and cocktail dresses/jumpsuits but wear what you’re comfortable in and feel your best in.

    Ceremony will be outdoors on the patio but the reception will be indoors.

  • Our colors are green and white but we don’t have a traditional bridal party so don’t worry about matching if you wear green.

Food, Drinks, & Reception Details

  • Absolutely—we’ll be serving a delicious buffet meal with options for most dietary needs.

    We will also have snacks and some kid-friendly options for the cocktail hour available.

  • Let us know and we’ll do our best to accommodate you!

  • We’ll have an open bar—so come ready to raise a glass!

RSVPs & Guest Info

  • Please send back the response card that came with your invitation or you can let us know.

    RSVPs are due May 8th so if we don’t hear from you by then, we’ll be in touch.

  • If your invite says “and guest,” yes! Otherwise, we’re keeping things cozy and can’t accommodate extra guests—thanks for understanding.

  • Yes! We love your little ones and look forward to seeing them (if you choose).

  • Things happen—we get it! Just reach out as soon as you can so we can do our best to plan accordingly.

    Numbers are due to our vendors at least a month before but we will do what we can.
